About Us

Ollie is a true rockstar. He's our little fighting buddy who overcame a few hurdles to be here today. He was born a bit early (about 12 weeks) and started out life as a pretty sick little buddy. He's now 14 months old and outside of a few developmental delays (gross motors, the Boy doesn't like to sit so much, and he hasn't crawled an inch) he's perfect.

He's nosy, loudmouthed, active, curious and very lovable.  Likes to snuggle when he's tired, likes to roll when he's not.

Me? I used to be the one in your office who proclaimed, “I could never stay at home. If I didn’t work, I’d die!” A bit overdramatic? Perhaps. I was a newlywed who’d stay til 7pm to make a deadline, to perfect the wording, to tweak the color scheme on that pesky ad one last time.

….hmmm…..

In an unexpected twist of fate, my pregnancy ended abruptly, 3 months early. Not surprisingly, my priorities changed. I quit my 8-5 without a thought, to stay home with Ollie.

My home is now my office and my car is my satellite location, and a roll and a grin from my little guy is far more rewarding than that other job I used to have.

I proudly am the hovering, spit-up-wearing, sporadically showering stay-at-home mom I never thought I’d be.

Oh, and I'm certainly not going at this alone. I would be sorely be remiss if I didn't give a shout-out to Matt, my husband of 2 years. A man who, early in our relationship, proclaimed, "I'm an as-hole," (and meant it) but has spent the last five years *not* living up to that declaration.
